Tom Holce, principal of Holce Investments, is an entrepreneur and angel investor who has built or helped to build dozens of successful companies in the Pacific Northwest over the last 50 years. He was the founder/CEO of such companies as Kentrox, Sentrol and Mikros, and held senior positions at Electro Scientific Industries Inc. and Plantronics. He also served as Chairman of Seasons Foods, BLT Technologies, Inc., Mitron and Decision Dynamics, Inc. He recently served as Chairman of the Portland Art Museum and Chairman of Pacific University. He is a Board member of Unicru, Stormwater Management, EID Access and Study Dog, and has sat on the Boards of over 20 other companies, organizations and institutions. He has received many honors and recognitions for service and philanthropy, including a Lifetime Achievement Award from OEF and the Boy Scouts High-Tech Executive of the Year, and was named Philanthropist of the Year in 2001 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Mr. Holce has a B.S. in math and physics and an honorary doctorate of science from Pacific University and holds over 20 U.S. patents.

![]() Milt Mittelstedt
Milt Mittelstedt was a tax partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, beginning his accounting career in 1967 and retiring in 1995. He was the Chief Financial Officer of BLT Technologies, Inc. from 1995 until its sale to WorldCom in 1996. Since retirement, Mr. Mittelstedt has served as a Board member or Advisory Board member of Veris Industries, Inc., Decision Dynamics, Inc., Legal Anywhere, Inc., Cerus Industrial and Holce Investments. He is a trustee and advisor for various individual and charitable trusts. He has a B.S.B.A. from the University of North Dakota.

![]() Jim Coonan
Jim Coonan is an entrepreneur and operator, who has been in a leadership position in a number of successful northwest technology companies. Mr. Coonan is Chairman of Rodin Audio, a leader in home and automobile electronics. Prior to his role at Rodin, Mr. Coonan was Chairman and largest shareholder of Kentrox, Inc., a leader in the telecommunications equipment business. Prior to that, Mr. Coonan was Chairman and owner of Hotel Software Systems Ltd, a provider of property management software for the hospitality industry. From 1990 through 2000, Mr. Coonan was Chief Executive Officer of OECO, a custom electronics manufacturer of defense, aerospace and high reliability electronic components. The company’s commercial contract manufacturing subsidiary was sold for $37 million in 1998. OECO itself was sold in 2000 for another $18 million. Mr. Coonan also served as Director of Business Alliances for the Oregon University System from 1998 until 2003. Mr. Coonan’s career began with marketing positions with Pillsbury and General Mills. Mr. Coonan has served in a number of charitable functions, including as a member of the Riverdale School Board, president of the Riverdale School District Foundation, and several roles with the Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum, including currently serving as a member of the Board and as Chairman of the Portland Angel Network. Mr. Coonan has an MBA from Northwestern and a B.A. from Stanford.

Tom Malone
Tom Malone has over 25 years of experience in the software, computer services, and telecommunications industries which include leadership roles with very large enterprises, small companies, and start-ups. Mr. Malone currently is CEO of Accero Software, a newly formed corporation that was derived through an asset purchase from Hewitt and Associates. Prior to his current role, Mr. Malone was CEO of SRC Software, a budgeting and planning software company which enjoyed significant growth rates and profitability during his tenure. Mr. Malone joined Business Objects in August 2005 when Business Objects acquired SRC Software for $100 million. Prior to joining SRC Software, Mr. Malone served as CEO of GST Telecommunications, a publicly-held telecommunications services company with more than 1,300 employees. While there, Mr. Malone was responsible for the turnaround, operations, and sale of the company for $690 million. Earlier in his career, Mr. Malone was president of Cable & Wireless USA, a $1.6 billion multinational telecommunications division of Cable & Wireless, plc. During his 10 years at Cable & Wireless, Mr. Malone launched value-added application services and managed one of the world's largest internet backbones. Mr. Malone received his BS in engineering technology from Miami University of Ohio.
